A Saudi prince has booked seats on an airplane to his 80 hawks, foreign media reports. The incident has taken place on Monday (31).
However, it was reported that falcons traveling in this style is pretty common in the Middle East. These birds are trained for hunting of birds, a popular pastime in the United Arab Emirates for over thousands of years. The hawk is also the national bird of the country.
The birds were also issued passports and assigned seats on the plane.
However, these hawks can’t use their passports to travel to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Morocco and Syria.
