A police constable has been arrested by the Galle Harbor Police for videoing a 13-year-old girl changing clothes from his mobile phone.

It is reported that the girl and her parents are residing in a rented section of the house owned by the by constable’s wife.

However, after learning that the constable had videotaped the girl changing clothes in the bathroom, her relatives had lodged a complaint with the harbour police.

The constable has been arrested and is due to be produced before the Galle Magistrate's Court today.
