Dambulla Police say a labourer who was working at Dambulla Economic Centre was killed when he was run over by a container early morning (Feb. 16).
 
It was revealed that the victim was a resident of Batticaloa and he was sleeping on the road in front of a vegetable shop when he was run over by a container.

However, the driver of the container had tried to cover-up his involvement in the accident as the CCTV footage showed that he had pulled a three-wheeler which was parked nearby and then parked it close to the body of the victim.
 
After securitizing the CCTV footage, police arrested the driver of the container.
