The little girl while holding her text books, first saught blessings from her mother.

It made the eyes of everyone present at the funeral wet.

Spouse of the deceased:

It was my husband who died. He suddenly became ill and we could not even believe what had happened. I have four daughters. All of them live with us in the same house. My husband was a mason.  We all survived with what he had earned daily. Now I and my daughters have become helpless due to the untimely death of my husband. “Chooti Duwa” went for the grade five scholarship exam while her father’s remains lying in the house. One other daughter sits for GCE A/L Examination this month. The other daughter sits for the A/Ls next year. One daughter has completed her secondary education but yet not employed. My husband urged me to educate our children even if he won’t be there.
