Two individual connected to the inhumane killing of an endangered eagle was arrested in Kaduruduwa area last night.

After the incident was made public on social media, the Wild Life Department asked IGP N. K. Illangakoon to take immediate action against the killers.


Initiation investigations revealed that the eagle was killed near the Dabaragala Bridge in Habaraduwa.

The arrested individuals will be produced before the Galle Magistrate today.
